Brother of Amelia Bordieri of Foxboro. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and several nieces andnephews. Funeral from the George F. John P. Carbonello 96, formerly of Dedham, died January 5, in the Golden Living Center in Norwood. He was the husband of the late Adalene (Lynds) Carbonello. Born in Brockton, February 26, 1926, the son of the late Peter and Mary (Magnante) Carbonello, Mr. Carbonello had lived in Dedham for many years before retiring to Florida where he lived until returning to Massachusetts in 2004. Mr. Carbonello had been a machinist for the Watertown Arsenal for many years. Mr. Carbonello had also been music teacher for many years and had played in the Navy band while in the Service. Mr. Carbonello served in the Navy during World War II. He is survived by his children, Arthur Carbonello of Brockton, Eileen Savage of Walpole and Chester Caerbonello of Dedham. He was the brother of the late Michael Magnante, Dot Nasso and Linda Carbonello. He is also survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held on Friday January 11 in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 11:00a.m. Visiting hours will be on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. in the Ginley Funeral Home 892 Main Street, Walpole.

Gail (Foster) Campbell of Harwich Port, MA and Naples, FL formerly of Scituate, Hingham and Quincy, MA died January 12, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family. Gail is the daughter of Leland C. and Arlette (Pettengill) Foster of Wiscasset, ME where she was raised. A graduate of Wiscasset High School, she attended U. Maine Orono and upon moving to Massachusetts had a 30 year career in banking with Quincy Savings Bank. There she held the positions of branch manager and treasurer. She was the president of The National Association of Women Bankers. Gail was also very active with the Norwell Chamber of Commerce where she was a past president. She was a proud member of the Neapolitan Club in Naples. Gail was loved by all who knew her and had varied interests including cooking, reading, dogs, sailing and camping. Spending time at the beach with her many friends and family was her favorite pastime. She was the life of the party and enjoyed every day. She will be best remembered for her distinctive and infectious laugh, her beautiful smile and bright blue eyes. Gail will be greatly missed by all. Gail is survived by her beloved husband Joseph A. Campbell and her extended family Lynne, Jay, Marcia, Ellen, Maryanne and their children and Sharon Larsen. Joe and Gail’s time together was fun and exciting. They both lived by the motto: “Carpe Diem”. She leaves a brother Leland (Landy) Foster of Fort Worth, TX and two daughters, Leigh Morse Stellato of Southwick, MA, Lori Morse Weseman of Falmouth, MA and a son Andrew Morse and his wife Brenda of East Lyme, CT. She leaves 8 grandchildren Jonathan, Gregory, Andrew, Ashley, Eric, Courtney, Tyler and Jackson. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 16 at 1:00 PM at the Christ Church Episcopal, Rte. 28, HARWICH PORT. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment private. Sherry, Paul F. of Dedham, passed away January 14, 2013. Beloved husband of Helen N. (Riordan) Sherry of Dedham. Loving father of Susan Sherry of Quincy, Diane Sherry of Quincy, and Helen Sherry and her husband Leo Lamont of VA. Cherished grandfather of Lee Lamont of VA. Loving brother of the late George Sherry, Robert Sherry, Rita Sherry, and Jean Lonergan. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Paul honorably served his country as a United States Marine during WWII and again in the Korean War, Paul was educated at Mission High School and received his BS in Mathematics and MS in Geophysics from Boston College. In his professional life, Paul was an engineer and scientist in the aerospace and defense industry. Paul worked for the Honeywell Corporation for 17 years and ended his career at the New England Research Center in Sudbury. Paul enjoyed history, jazz and was a lifelong fan of BC and NE Patriots football. Paul was devoted to his family and especially to his grandson Lee who was born as Paul approached the age of 80. He will be remembered as caring family man who lived his life with integrity, determination and devotion. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday from 2-6 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A funeral service will be celebrated on Monday at 10 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy. Burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury.
